Coach
From an early age, I was introduced to softball and CrossFit. I grew up playing in recreational leagues, as well as doing KidsFit in my parent’s first gym Crossfit Clinton. I played softball in high school and college. Being a catcher gave me many opportunities to be in leadership positions. Over the years, I have grown to learn how to apply those skills in a CrossFit setting. At Crossfit Comeback, I enjoy being able to lead and encourage others in ways that my coaches did to me growing up. A couple more fun facts about me…I am a recent graduate of Hinds CC, specifically the Veterinary Technology Program. I am also getting married this November!!
A major turning point for me actually happened just a couple of months ago. My college softball career came to an end in May so now I am able to focus on more CrossFit-related things. My sophomore year was a tough year. More so mentally than physically. There were many times when I wished that CrossFit was the only sport I had to focus on. There were battles in my head of self-confidence and self-doubt. CrossFit has always been a way for me to do hard things which helps me overcome those mental struggles. I am excited about what the future holds for me not only as a CrossFit coach but also as a CrossFit athlete.
My passion for CrossFit is always growing. I try to recruit anybody I can to come and join us! I long to serve those who struggle with confidence and doubt! My motivation as a coach is to show people that they can become their best selves and have fun while doing it!
