Growing up, sports were my life! My parents put me in every activity they could—soccer, gymnastics, dance, tennis, softball, and show choir. I met my husband Brad when I was 15, and we started dating in 2004. We’ve now been married almost 15 years and have four amazing kids: Maddox (10), Kennedy (7), Ruby (almost 4), and Paxton (almost 2). Brad started CrossFit first, and I joined a few weeks later. I was hesitant at first—I thought it would make me look like a bodybuilder. I now know that was clearly a misconception. CrossFit makes you strong, and strong is beautiful. Before I started CrossFit, my life was consumed with an obsession over body image, pride, and a desire to control. I constantly put these things before God, chasing performance and affirmation to try and feel worthy. But God, in His kindness, showed me that my identity is not based on how much I can lift or how others view me—it’s rooted and secure in Christ. After I started CrossFit, it became more than just a workout—it became a space where I learned discipline, community, and purpose. Each struggle, each workout, and each failure shaped me into the coach I am today: passionate, empathetic, and driven to help others step into the strength and identity they never knew they had.
My turning point came when I finally realized that performance wasn’t my identity. I had been chasing control, comparison, and physical perfection—but none of it satisfied. The real enemy was my fear of not being enough and the lie that I had to earn love or respect. Everything shifted when I began to see myself through God’s eyes—loved, chosen, and enough apart from anything I could do. It was no longer about proving myself, but about walking in the freedom and purpose He had already given me. That’s when I stopped striving and started showing up differently—as a wife, a mom, and a coach. Now, I use my story to help others break free from the pressure to perform and start building strength that lasts—from the inside out.
I coach because I want people to realize they were made for more. I’m passionate about helping individuals—especially those battling identity issues or stuck in performance-based mindsets—find freedom, strength, and joy in who they are. My motivation comes from watching people walk out of the gym not just stronger physically, but transformed emotionally and spiritually.
